Functions

Here are descriptions of all of the major functions of the Unistellar App and the individual actions needed to operate the eVscope. Other sections will will describe how to use these functions to prepare the Evscope for observing and apply them to the operational processes necessary to get good images.

The App opens to the Catalog page, one of the Apps are four main pages. Those pages are Catalog, Science observations (SO), Gallery, and Observe. The first three are reached using the three icons at the bottom of Catalog page. The Observe page is reached by tapping the Telescope icon in the colored circle in the lower left of all pages. In addition, the Setting menu is always available by tapping the Gear (⚙️) icon in the upper right of all pages. Other common icons are Back (<), Close (x), and Search Catalog (🔍)
