The Unistellar App required to operate the eVscope can be acquired from the App Store (iOS) or the Play Store (Android). The app is free and most functions are accessible without connecting to an eVscope. Here are instruction and information about downloading the App.

The App is generally updated for both operating systems simultaneously. Instruction and tips for updating the App are available at Unstellar Tech Support.

When installing, it is necessary to approve and allow the App to access device features, such as Location, Network Discovery, Push Notifications, and access to Photos and files. This article from Unistellar describes the process for iOS uses, but it is similar for Android. A common response to correct problems with App functionality is to delete the App from the device and reinstall for the App/Play Store, taking care to allow access when prompted.
