Devices

The App operates on iOS and Android operating system platforms ("devices") that must be capable of WiFi connectivity. These are usually handheld devices like smartphones and tablets, but may also be larger computing platforms with iOS/Android software emulation and a WiFi interface. The App uses the device WiFi services to connect with the eVscope's internal WiFi access point, allowing the device to command the eVscope and act as storage for saved images. Up to ten devices with the App installed may connect to an eVscope WiFi access point simultaneously; one device may be designated the Operator and the others will be designated as Observers. The Operator device has full eVscope command authority, able to change Settings, select Targets, and save resulting images. Observers can only save images and request Operator status.
